DoI to begin Steam Packet review as soon as possible

The Department of Infrastructure says it will be starting a review into recent sailing disruption with the Steam Packet Company as soon as it can.
The DoI wants to identify lessons to be learned to avoid similar problems in the future.
The Ben-my-Chree was left with a manoeuvrability problem for months following damage to a bow thruster, which led to an increased rate of cancellations during gales.
Between November 25th and December 13th the vessel's sailings were cancelled on 13 days.
The went in to dry dock last weekend, and is now fully functional.
