Fly tippers will pay the price, warn police

Publication Date: Tue, 20 Dec 2011  12:39

Police are warning those caught fly tipping will pay a higher price than the cost of disposing of rubbish properly.

The message comes following a recent incident of fly tipping in the west of the Island.

A distinctive fridge freezer was dumped in a lane on the Glen Maye side of Knockaloe Farm.

The unit should be easily recognisable as it has a picture of leaping dolphins on the front.

The item was left the weekend before last.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Peel Police Station.
