Snow causes travel disruption

The Mountain Road at 12pm today

Snow fall is leading to disruption in some parts of the Island

The Mountain Road re-opened at 2pm after being closed for several hours.

The Brandywell Road and Tholt y Will Road are both closed due to snow and ice.

Police have also been warning motorists to avoid Slieu Lewaigue on the Ramsey Coast Road if possible.

Bus Vannin suspended services between Laxey and Ramsey for a time, but they're now back to normal.

The weather conditions are forecast to improve this afternoon.
