Ben can catch up on freight quickly, says SPC

The Steam Packet says it can quickly catch up with freight shipments which are affected by cancelled sailings.
Severe weather and a broken bow thruster are causing major disruptions to services.
The firm says the Ben-my-Chree is a large capacity vessel which allows it to get back on top of freight requirements quickly.
Some shops have been left short of stock in the last week.
Ramsey Bakery's Managing Director Jim Duncan says this recent episode highlights the dangers of being too reliant on goods from the UK.
