Former Mayor of Douglas dies

A former Mayor of Douglas has died at the age of 76.
George Chatel served as Mayor in the 1993 to 1994 municipal year.
He was also a Councillor for Victoria Ward for twenty five years.
He was awarded the Freedom of Douglas in 2007, and was also an MBE.
