New £1.1million medical facility opens at Ramsey

Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital
A new £1.1million ward and training facility is now open at Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital.
The facility includes a 31 bed inpatient unit, replacing the old Bride Ward.
The work has been funded by a bequest from the Cyril John Martin Trust.
Cyril and Eileen Martin asked for their estate to be used for medicine for the public good, and previously funded a £1.4million CT scanner for Noble's Hospital.
The unit took 10 months to build, and was completed on time and on budget
