Power being restored in Onchan area

Much of Onchan and the surrounding area was without power earlier this morning.
It's understood supplies are now being restored, following a widespread outage
It had been thought the problem could take several hours to fix.
The Department of Education and Children has confirmed that both Ashley Hill and Onchan Schools are open as normal
