A Manx2 plane has been involved in an incident at Blackpool Airport.

One of the aircraft's tyres burst on landing.

The flight had left the Isle of Man at 11.20 this morning.

Firecrews were scrambled at Blackpool Airport, however the plane landed safely and the nine passengers onboard were unharmed.

An additional aircraft was flown to Blackpool carrying a spare tyre and an engineer. The additional aircraft was then used to fly passengers on the flight scheduled to leave at 12.20pm to the Isle of Man.
