Hopes fuel duty increase could be scrapped

Many Manx motorists will have their fingers crossed that UK politicians will abandon plans to increase fuel duty in the new year.

An online petition has triggered a debate in the United Kingdom Parliament today.

Petrol is due to rise by 3p per litre from 1st January inline with measures announced in the UK budget earlier this year.
