DoI to trial online car tax renewels

Manx motorists will be able to renew their car tax online soon.
The Department of Infrastructure is to trial a scheme, allowing vehicle licensing payments to be taken online.
Those who vehicles are registered with the Motor Insurance Database will be able to take part.
It's understood that more than 70% of Manx vehicles are registered on the database.
For those eligible, a code will be on their reminder letter which will allow them to pay online.
