Gas leak keeps Victoria Road closed

Repairs are underway following a gas leak on a busy Douglas road.
Victoria Road in Douglas is closed this morning whilst the problem is fixed.
The road was also closed over the weekend for resurfacing works, but had been due to re-open at 6.00 this morning.
Major works have been taking place on the stretch of road from the Shoprite roundabout to Glencrutchery Road.
The Department of Infrastructure says Shoprite will be opening.
