Island must follow UK in increasing petrol prices says Bell

The Island has no choice but to follow the UK when it comes to raising duty on petrol.
That's according to Chief Minister Allan Bell.
The cost of a litre of unleaded petrol and diesel will go up by just over 3p per litre from 1st January.
There's been some criticism that Tynwald didn't debate the issue when the increase was approved earlier this week.
However, Mr Bell says the rate of duty is decided in the United Kingdom.[Play media file below]
