Petrol to rise by 3p per litre

The price of petrol will rise by 3p a litre in the New Year.
Tynwald unanimously approved the move which was originally to have been brought in in April this year but was but was put back until January.
It effects both unleaded petrol and diesel.
The increased duty is in line with the UK.
Treasury Minister Eddie Teare brought the matter to Tynwald on Tuesday..[play clip]
