Petrol prices to rise from New Year

The price of petrol will rise by 3p a litre in the New Year.
Tynwald unanimously approved the move which was originally to have been brought in in April but was but was put back till January.
It effects both unleaded petrol and diesel.
The increased duty is in line with the UK.
Treasury Minister Eddie Teare brought the matter to Tynwald on Tuesday.[play media file below]
