It's estimated that resurfacing works in Shaw's Brow car park will cost Douglas Council nearly £17,000 in lost revenue.

Level 6 of the car park is due to be resurfaced, with works expected to take around 4 weeks.

All 136 spaces on level 6 are let out on an annual contract.

As a result, level 4 will close to the public whilst the works take place to provide spaces for those with contracts.

This is expected to result in £16,920 in lost income.

The Council is awaiting final confirmation that the project can go ahead before the start date can be confirmed.
