New equipment to help deaf theatre-goers

The Gaiety Theatre will use the equipment
Equipment which will produce subtitles for theatre performances will be available on the Island later this year.
The Manx Deaf Society has purchased captioning equipment to improve theatre entertainment for those who are deaf or have hearing problems.
The portable unit will be able to be used around the Island.
An event to show how the equipment works is taking place at the Gaiety Theatre on November 1st.
