The Government is looking for people to serve on statutory boards and bodies.

The five year appointments are needed for a number of organisations, including the MEA, Office of Fair Trading and the Financial Supervision Commission.

Public appointees aren't involved in the daily running of the organisation, but they are required to attend board meetings, and in some cases have more substantial duties.

Information packs are available through the Chief Secretary's Office website.

All applications must be made by the end of October.
