Over £1million spent on maintaining Manannan this year

The Manannan is out of service today for essential maintenance.
The Steam Packet Company says it is disappointing that the vessel has suffered such reliability problems this year.
It has spent over £1million on maintaining the fastcraft so far this year.
The operator says the vessel's problems are caused by fishing gear being ingested by the Manannan's engines.
The Steam Packet is calling for the shipping routes to be protected to reduce the amount of damage caused.
Normal fastcraft services are to resume tomorrow
