A Peel man aiming to break the world record for the fastest journey around the world by bicycle says the Isle of Man is the perfect training ground.
Paul Unett's journey will take him five months travelling through 15 countries, cycling a minimum of 18,000 miles.
He'll begin in February next year.
From Sunday, he's going to cycle 1000 miles in a week on a static bike in the Strand Shopping Centre to raise money for charity, and to highlight the endurance needed for his world record attempt.
