A Manx firefighter who's representing the Island at a 9/11 memorial service in New York this weekend expects it to be an emotional event.

Keith Moore has travelled to US to join the tribute to the fire crews who died in the terrorist attacks.

Sunday is the tenth anniversary of the tragedy at the World Trade Centre.

Mr Moore and his colleague Danny Dooley will wear the Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service's traditional ceremonial uniforms.

Mr Moore says their visit will strengthen the bond Manx firemen have developed with their counterparts in New York.
