Out of control car crashes into hedge

A motorist has escaped injury after crashing into a hedge in Santon.
The incident happened near the Hop Garden on the New Castletown Road yesterday evening.
Police say just one vehicle was involved, and that the car went out of control, coming to rest in the hedge.
The road remained open whilst emergency services attended the scene.
