Road to close for jury visit

The jury in the trial of an Australian man accused of causing death by dangerous driving whilst on the Island will visit the crash scene later today.

Craig William Waghorn was involved in a collision with local biker Robert Kneale at Fairy Bridge during TT.

Jurors and court officials will visit the site this morning.

The road will be closed between 11.00am and 12.00pm from Ballavale Road to Blackboards.

Bus services will be diverted at this time, and there'll be no stopping at Richmond Hill and Santon.

The trial is expected to conclude later this week.
