Two call-outs for Peel lifeboat

Peel lifeboat assisting a small boat on Thursday

Peel lifeboat crew have had a busy couple of days.

On Thursday afternoon a small boat broke down around a mile and a half from Peel.

The lifeboat towed it and its two crew back into the harbour.

Yesterday, a rope became tangled around a yacht's prop near Ballaugh.

The yacht was travelling from Ramsey to Peel at around lunchtime.

The crew towed the boat to Peel and helped with the mooring.
