Overgrown hedges causing road safety problems

The Department of Infrastructure has had a change of heart about its hedge cutting policy after road safety issues in areas which have become overgrown.
Last year, it was decided that roadside trimming would be reduced to save money and benefit wildlife.
However, some hedgerows have now grown so much they're posing problems for drivers.
Hedge cutting and weeding will be stepped up again, but will still carried out less than in previous years.
