New fire pumps begin operating

The new fire pumps on Battery Pier in Douglas are now in use.
The Department of Infrastructure has announced that the system has been successfully commissioned.
The Department says the system has been delivered within its £2.16million budget.
The facility will be used in the event of a fire at the oil and gas facilities around the pier.
