Demonstration abandoned after real emergency

A demonstration rescue involving the Lieutenant Governor, Port St Mary lifeboat crew and an RAF Sea King helicopter had to be called off after a real emergency unfolded.
The lifeboat and helicopter had been due to rescue Adam Wood as part of a demonstration for Port St Mary Lifeboat Day yesterday.
However the helicopter had to leave to deal with an emergency in Wales.
