The Southern 100 club says no-one involved in last night's incident sustained life threatening injuries.

Racing was abandoned after a crash at Billown dip during the 600cc race.

The abandonment was due to the state of the road, and police insisting on making a full investigation into what happened.

The area of the collision remained closed for some time after the remainder of the course opened.

The final day of racing gets underway later.
