Man due in court following Athol Street incident

A Douglas man has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
The 22 year old was arrested following the incident on Athol Street on Monday morning.
He's being held in custody until he appears in court later this morning
A 61 year old man was taken to Noble's following the incident, and has since required surgery.
Police say there is no update to the victim's condition at this time.
