Douglas man arrested for attempted murder

A Douglas man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
The 22 year old was taken into police custody following an incident on Athol Street this morning.
The victim has been taken to hospital where he is receiving treatment for serious injuries.
Police say they're working at the scene to help people get to work.
Cordons will remain in place whilst the investigation continues.
