DCCL pleased bus driver strike is off

Bus chiefs have welcomed the decision by their drivers not to strike next week.
Industrial action on Tuesday and Wednesday has been called off after the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure made a revised offer on sick pay.
The Department has been updating the terms and conditions for bus drivers, which the Minister says are historic and restrictive.
The bus service will now operate as planned for Tynwald Day and Wednesday next week.
