Quayle to ask to increase help for first time buyers

The Social Care Minister believes giving more assistance to first time buyers will benefit the Island's economy.

Martyn Quayle is to ask Tynwald for approval to increase the limits on the House Purchase Assistance Scheme, allowing more people to get financial help from the Government when buying a home.

The Minister believes the changes will cost an additional £1million.

But, he says the extra help will boost the Manx economy [play clip]
