Busy week for the Island's police

Local police are having their work cut out for them this week having to deal with crashes, traffic congestion and anti-social behavour.

There've been a number of serious and fatal collisions since the start of this year's festival and road closures have led to frustration for motorists.

There've also been arrests for drunkenness and fighting.

Official statistics aren't available yet, so it's not clear if there have been more incidents this year.
