Irving to attempt legal action for defamation

The organiser of the failed Isle of Man Bay Festival claims he's taking legal action against Isle of Man Newspapers.
Jonathon Irving doesn't like the headlines the event and its cancellation generated and he's now accusing the papers of defamation.
Mr Irving hasn't responded to requests for interviews with the newspapers or Energy FM since his event flopped.
However, Mr Irving did agree to speak to Granada Reports.
During the interview, he wouldn't blame the festival's line-up for putting people off buying tickets.[Play audio file below]
