There's a call for the Public Transport Director to quit over his handling of job losses within the railways division.

It's alleged five workers suffered degrading and humiliating experiences when they were given their marching orders in front of members of the public at Douglas station.

It's claimed Ian Longworth and other senior staff members were involved.

North Douglas MHK Bill Henderson is asking for a full investigation into what happened.[play clip]

Mr Henderson was successful in asking Tynwald to support his call for help in finding new government jobs for the men.
