New Community Health Centre open in Douglas

A new Central Communtiy Health Centre has been officially opened at the site of the Old Noble's Hospital.

 

The facility on Westmoreland Road is being run by the Departments of Health and Social Care.

 

A variety of services are to be provided there including breast screening, family planning and blood donors.

 

It comes after a decade of work at the site, including the demolition of parts of the former hospital
