Prison monitoring board seeks new members

The Isle of Man Prison at Jurby
Member are being sought for a group which protects the Island's prisoners' rights.
The Independent Monitoring Board is recruiting.
The board liases with prisoners over their concerns and requests, as well as inspecting police and court cells and attending monthly meetings.
The role requires good life experience, an open mind and diplomacy.
An allowance is paid for attending the monthly meetings, whilst travel expenses are also available.
