Minister says general surgeon is the best option

A politician is continuing to raise concerns over the future of breast care on the Isle of Man.

Douglas East MHK Brenda Cannell has posed a number of questions to Health Minister David Anderson in the House of Keys over the past several months.

Mrs Cannell is concerned over plans to replace the current breast specialist surgeon with a general surgeon that has an interest in breast surgery.

Mr Anderson attended a meeting last night on the future of breast care in the Isle of Man.
