DEC pays tribute to former music adviser

The Department of Education and Children is based at Hamilton House on Peel Road
The Department of Education and Children has been paying tribute to a former music teacher and adviser.
Alan Pickard was regarded as one of the leading figures in Manx music.
The DEC says he introduced thousands of children to singing and playing instruments.
The Department says its thoughts are with his family at this time
