RAF helicopter lands on Ramsey beach

An RAF helicopter had to land on Ramsey beach yesterday.
The helicopter had been participating in a training exercise with Ramsey Lifeboat Crew.
A man had been winched from the helicopter to the lifeboat when the winch stopped working, leaving the man stuck on the lifeboat.
He had to return to the harbour with the lifeboat, where the helicopter collected him.
The training session will be rescheduled.
