Child sex offence accused denied bail

A Peel man accused of committing sexual offences against a child has been refused bail.

The defendant can't be named for fear it could reveal the identity of the alleged victim.

He appeared in court this week accused of four counts of indecent assault.

Police investigations into the allegations continue.

The case was adjourned until next Tuesday.
