The Chief Minister has been visiting the under-construction Bemahague School in Onchan.
Tony Brown was shown around the site of the £33.8million facility by Education and Children Minister Eddie Teare.
The school is due to open in September 2012, and will accomodate around 800 pupils from years 7, 8 and 9 at St Ninian's.
Mr Brown said he was impressed with the site, and looks forward to seeing it open.
