The Chief Minister is denying allegations that bosses at the Post Office have been given pay increases.

Tony Brown was answering a question in the House of Keys today.

It was claimed that senior management jobs at the post office have been re-graded, which has resulted in pay rises.

Staff there are currently being balloted on whether to strike in a row over wages.

Mr Brown did say incremental pay rises at the post office have been honoured and that this is the case with all public sector employees.
