Police are investigating after two large copper water tanks were stolen from a building site at the old Noble's Hospital.

The tanks were taken from Westmoreland Road between 5.00pm on Wednesday last week and 8.00 the following morning.

The tanks cost £3735.

The items are fairly large, weighing around 300kg each, and would have needed a large vehicle to transport them.
