Pacemaker service to save Department money

It's hoped the launch of an on-Island pacemaker service will save the Department of Health a significant amount of money.
Currently, patients needing a pacemaker have to travel to the North West.
The Department now employs a doctor experienced in fitting the heart pacing device.
It also means follow up appointments can be attended on the Island.
