More spent on specialist fencing for TT

Recticel barriers are used for a number of motorsports

£60,000 has been spent on specialist fencing for around the TT course.

The Department of Economic Development's Motorsport Team says the Recticel fencing will replace around 2000 straw bales currently used.

Over £350,000 has been spent on Recticel in the last five years.

The fencing will be used at this year's TT and Manx Grand Prix.

The positioning has been discussed with a number of the riders
