Politicians approve 2011 - 2012 budget

The Island's budget has been approved by all but one member of Tynwald.
Politicians spent much of yesterday debating Anne Craine's proposals.
Most spoke largely in support of the budget, which aims to help rebalance the Island's books.
Only Liberal Vannin Party Leader Peter Karran voted against.
However he did speak in favour of some aspects of the budget, including raising the personal allowance credit for the Island's lowest earners.
Mr Karran said initiatives like this can help the economy grow [play clip]
