More charges in election corruption case

More people have now been charged with forgery and conspiracy in connection to alleged corruption in the Douglas East by-election.

10 arrests have been made in total as police investigate alleged irregularities in the proxy voting.

Seven people have been charged with the offences and will appear in court on 8th March.

Of the other suspects detained, one has been released on police bail, one cautioned and the other released without action.
