Woman hospitalised following fire

A woman needed hospital treatment following a flat fire in Douglas.
Fire crews were called to Kensington Road in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The fire was confined to the lounge, however the flat had become heavily smoke logged.
The female occupant was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to hospital.
No other injuries were reported
