Former Ramsey school to be demolished

Albert Road Junior School in Ramsey
Demolition is to begin at a former primary school in Ramsey next week.
Albert Road Junior School closed in July 2008, when the new Scoill Ree Gorree opened on Lezayre Road.
There are no firm plans for the site, but the Government hopes the land won't lie derelict for too long.
A temporary public car park could be formed on the site during the demolition process, and it's possible the land could be used for sheltered accomodation.
