DEC teaching staff cut by 35

The Minister for Education and Chidren has revealed his Department's teaching staff has been reduced by around 4%.
Eddie Teare says teaching staff have been reduced from 881 to 846.
He also confirmed there have been sixteen posts cut within the Department's central services.
The DEC has over 2600 permanent staff, which account for just over 70% of its expenditure.
